Position Summary

This role will support the creation of A+ product content for products by authoring, optimizing, populating our cPIM platform, and coordinating the syndication/delivery of customized product and category listings for vertiv.com, partner websites, and information aggregators (GfK, Icecat, 1Worldsync). It is suited to an individual with the right mix of analytical, copywriting, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

A+ Product Content Production

  • Work with portfolio marketing writers and creative designers to produce customized product and category content for Vertiv's products across vertiv.com, distribution, black diamond partners, and information aggregators (GfK, Icecat, 1Worldsync).
  • Responsible for the accuracy, relevance, and adherence of Vertiv's product listings and category content according to the established guidelines
  • Proofread and conduct routine quality-control audits of product pages on vertiv.com, partner websites and information aggregator platforms.
  • Track digital content performance on vertiv.com and partner websites to analyze results and prepare routine reports that communicate opportunities for improvement to business partners.
  • Utilize search engine optimization (SEO) and AI search optimization principles to create, manage, and optimize product listings and category content for vertiv.com and partner websites.
  • Manage and maintain internal keyword databases and reporting.

Content Upload, Syndication, and Compliance

  • Coordinate, assess, and facilitate the timely upload in cPIM of Vertiv's product listings, category content, marketing content, and tools to vertiv.com and partner websites.
  • Prioritize and execute timely syndication of digital shelf content to critical websites.
  • For NAM Amazon and other named accounts, own the digital shelf and establish relationships to drive partnership and digital excellence.
  • Leverage strong expertise in our tool's workflows to enable seamless content publishing and auditing.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to drive efficiency in content syndication workflow.
  • Partner closely with regional teams to ensure flawless execution of customer syndication.
  • Work with regional marketing team to coordinate all digital efforts including paid search, partner events, channel promotions and PR publications/events.
  • Act as the central point of contact for the internal stakeholders to review and execute digital shelf optimizations.
  • Conduct regular product content audits and track content health to ensure completeness of product detail pages.
  • Use Smartsheet and/or project management tools to track and report ongoing syndication progress.

Audit and Reporting / Digital Shelf Visibility

  • Synthesize regular product content health KPIs into a strategic approach and create deliverables such as action items, strategy briefs, and presentation decks.
  • Perform audits and analyze data (quantitative and qualitative) from various measurement tools to provide insights on user behavior and identify recommended product content optimizations.
  • Identify potential future opportunities through recommended revisions or improvements for later stages.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Journalism, Marketing & Communication, Interaction Design, Business or directly related experience.
  • 4+ years experience in product content creation and syndication.
  • Background in digital merchandising, digital marketing, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic individual, able to be productive in multi-cultural, virtual work environments.
  • Positive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
  • Able to work as part of a team and to establish productive relationships with people at all levels.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent time, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willing to work mid-shift.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications from industry-leading companies like Google or related usability body.
  • Expertise in managing end-to-end digital shelf content production and syndication.
  • Strong working knowledge of metadata standards, taxonomy, and SEO best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills to balance multiple priorities.
  • Have a creative eye for what will drive consumer conversion.
  • Ability to balance analytical and creative storytelling mindset.
  • Embodies can-do and agile attitude and willing to roll up their sleeves.
  • Passion for creating processes and implementing new systems.
