Position Summary

Sustainable Finance and Investment (SFI, formerly known as ESG) is one of the key verticals within Company Data which caters to clients engaged in equity research. SFI provides integrated financial andextra-financial information, which is crucial for understanding the long-term performance and risk profile of major corporations. Our comprehensive ESG database covers nearly 80% of the globalmarket cap and over 500 metrics, including all exclusion (ethical screening) criteria and all aspects ofsustainability performance.

The data is gathered from publicly available information sources and is manually collected to ensurethat the information is standardized, comparable and reliable. All the ESG data collected is qualitycontrolled and verified in a thorough process by our experienced analysts and robust automatedchecks.

The successful candidate is responsible for gathering ESG data into the system and making

sure that it is timely, and accurate.

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Collect ESG-related information through reading and analyzing multiple sources and reports.
  • Gather the data points completely and accurately.
  • Process data according to set timeliness, including data coming from contributors.
  • Communicate & liaise with internal and external departments for resolution of data queries
  • Leverage available tools and support to maintain and improve content quality.
  • Test new database/application releases where appropriate, providing user feedback.
  • Support specific projects, as assigned by manager.
  • Adhere to change control procedures, data operations standards and current data policies
  • and procedures.
  • Responsible for delivering high productivity and quality data.
  • Proactively resolve data problems.

  • The candidate should be open to either APAC or EMEA shift
