Job Role- Content Analyst ESG Sourcing

Location- Manila

Job description:

ESG refers Environmental, Social and Corporate governance. ESG data covers nearly 70% of global market cap and over 400 metrics. It helps one to assess the risks and opportunities posed by companies performance in critical areas such as climate change, executive remuneration, and diversity and inclusion. The Content Analyst would be responsible for maintaining and sourcing of ESG Related documents. Working with other staff, begin to be responsible for the contributor relationship between Refinitiv and the local exchange, contributor or data supplier for day-to-day operations. Ensuring that relevant information is maintained and delivered in an accurate and timely manner. The position is within Content Operations, which supports data across Refinitiv products and services.

Sourcing CSR, Earnings announcements and other ESG related documents from stock exchanges, regulatory bodies, third party providers and company websites. Monitoring and maintaining real-time and historical CSR and other ESG related documents for various markets/countries by adhering to all quality & compliance requirements.

Crucial Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Researching on the CSR, Earnings announcements and other ESG related documents
  • Ensure required CSR, Earnings announcements and other ESG related documents are acquired on time
  • Ensure all metadata are updated for CSR, Earnings announcements and other ESG related documents acquired
  • Track all company documents (Financial and non-financial documents) via stock exchanges, company websites and other sources
  • Process and maintain data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using technical and financial knowledge.
  • Contact Companies/Stock Exchange to get required financial documents
  • Communicate & liaise with internal and external vendors/departments for resolution of data queries.
  • Developing expertise in data related issues. Build up knowledge of financial regulations and market practices/conventions in relevant markets.
  • Improve usage of available tools/support to best of advantage to maintain/improve content quality during daily operations.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness per company standards for the covered product/market.
  • Test new database/application releases where appropriate, providing expert user feedback.
  • Support specific projects, as assigned by manager.
  • Adhere to change control procedures, data operations standards and current data policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for delivering high productivity and quality data.
  • Proactively determine and resolve data problems.

Additional Information:

Analyst should be willing to work in shifts as this a business requirement for ESG Sourcing team.

Qualification:

Any Bachelor's Degree

Required Skills:

  • Good English Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding and working knowledge of MS Office applications with proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Basic understanding and working knowledge of SQL
  • Good understanding of Financial Markets, Markets concepts and behaviors

PREFERRED Skills

Ability to multitask and work on tight deadlines

Ability to work independently and take initiative
