We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Content Administrator to support content management and quality assurance activities for the Makro PRO Platform.
About the Role
This role is primarily responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing product content across the website and mobile application, ensuring product information, images, attributes, and merchandising content are accurate, complete, and customer-friendly. The role also provides support for promotional campaigns through content preparation, product collections, and landing page updates. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, basic photo editing skills, and a passion for e-commerce operations.
Responsibilities
Content Management & Product Listings (Primary Responsibility)
- Create, upload, edit, and maintain product listings across the Makro PRO Platform.
- Ensure product information, attributes, categorization, keywords, pricing, and images are accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Manage and enrich product content to improve searchability and customer experience.
- Perform basic image editing, including resizing, cropping, background cleanup/removal, and image optimization.
- Conduct regular content audits and resolve data inaccuracies, duplicate listings, and content inconsistencies.
- Maintain content quality and consistency across all customer-facing channels.
Content Quality Control & Validation
- Perform quality checks on product listings, category pages, collections, banners, and promotional content.
- Validate content accuracy across Web and App platforms.
- Identify and resolve content-related issues impacting customer experience, conversion, or search performance.
- Ensure compliance with platform standards and brand guidelines.
Campaign & Merchandising Support
- Support campaign preparation by reviewing product information, assets, pricing, and SKUs.
- Build and update product collections, landing pages, banners, and merchandising content using internal tools.
- Support campaign launches and content updates according to established processes and timelines.
- Maintain category pages, featured collections, and brand pages to ensure relevance and engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Technology teams.
- Gather product information, content assets, and supporting materials from relevant stakeholders.
- Communicate content-related risks, issues, and progress in a timely manner.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare and maintain reports related to content completeness, content quality, listing status, and issue resolution.
- Analyze recurring content errors and recommend corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities for content process improvements, standardization, and automation.
- Maintain documentation, content standards, and operating procedures.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving content efficiency and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Digital Marketing, E-commerce, Information Technology, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in Content Administration, Product Information Management, Product Listing Operations, E-commerce Content Management, Digital Merchandising, Content Quality Assurance, or related areas.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic photo editing and image optimization skills.
- Familiarity with image editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn CMS, PIM, DAM, and e-commerce management platforms quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
