Job Description
The Consultative Analytics Team Lead, under the supervision of the Director of Consultative Analytics, ensures the efficiency of all functions, duties, and tasks performed by his/her team. The Team Lead will also serve as a leader within the Consultative Analytics Dept for areas within his/her domain of expertise. This position will also contribute to team culture and systems, and assist the Director in strategic solution-building.
Responsibilities
- Ensures high productivity for team members who are focused on areas within the Team Lead's domain of expertise. This may include tracking productivity metrics and providing individual guidance to team members.
- Ensures top-quality work output for the whole department for items within the Team Lead's domain of expertise.
- In collaboration with the Director, improve best practices for tasks within the Team Lead's domain of expertise. Help to create systems, workflows, and protocols for tasks within the Team Lead's domain of expertise.
- Along with the Director, help develop and coach the team to achieve growth goals, both collective and individual. Help each team member flourish in his/her role.
- Contributes to Product Design and Development.
- Communicates with clients or prospects about Broadspire's value proposition and about areas within the Team Lead's domain of expertise. Provide guidance to team members on client specific strategies.
- Performs administrative onboarding. Train new employees and conduct cross-training when needed.
- Keeps supervisor informed verbally and in writing of activities and problems within assigned area of responsibility; refers matters beyond limits of authority and expertise to supervisor for direction.
- Performs other related work as required or requested.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2 - 3 years in analytics, with some client-facing component
- Proficient at quickly building trust and healthy professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Highly organized thinking, writing, and presenting so that key points are delivered powerfully and clearly to the right audience, with the demonstrated ability to sell ideas and concepts to management and customers.
- Focused on solutions: employee is aware of roadblocks, but is continually applying creativity and a comprehensive approach to overcome roadblocks.
- Strives to establish and systematize best practices.
- Capable of making arguments to unknown audiences (such as a CFO who is not at a meeting, but might view material or receive a secondhand presentation from another party).
- Capable of quickly learning new tools.
- Excellent logic.
- Familiarity with statistics.
- Understand how to effectively manage a complex audience (broker, Risk Manager, CFO) including leveraging sponsors and managing around anti-sponsors.
- Proficiency in Power BI; Power BI certification is preferred.
