The Opportunity
We are seeking a Consultant II to join the team of our US-based client - a leading provider of cloud-based supply chain management solutions, serving a global network of retail trading partners.
The ideal candidate for this role is a customer-focused professional with strong communication skills, proven experience supporting or working directly with clients, and the technical aptitude to learn and troubleshoot software or integration workflows. The should bring confidence, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset to a fast-faced, service-driven environment. An EDI background is highly preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute system installations, upgrades, testing, and configurations for implementation projects.
- Perform initial technical implementation of technology products post-sale and track project progress to ensure deadlines are met.
- Consult with clients to understand their operational needs and business objectives, and keep stakeholders informed of project progress.
- Conduct tasks and assignments with moderate supervision, using independent judgment as needed.
Core Experience & Background
- 3-5+ years in a customer-facing role, such as customer service, client support, technical support, account coordination, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, handle escalations with professionalism, and build strong rapport with customers.
- Experience managing multiple customer requests simultaneously while maintaining service-quality standards.
- Adjusting communication style based on audience (technical vs non-technical).
- Experience or familiarity with EDI (ANSI X12), EDIFACT, XML and experience with text editing and data mapping tools is a plus.
Technical Aptitude
- Comfortable working with software systems, platforms, or technology tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot logically using limited inputs, follow structured processes, and learn new applications or technical concepts quickly.
- Exposure to system integrations, support, or data-related workflows is a plus.
- Curiosity about how data flows through ERPs, WMSs, and SPS tools.
- Pattern recognition: spotting issues, mapping errors, or configuration gaps fast.
- EDI experience is a strong advantage, but a willingness and ability to learn is more important.

- Strong problem-solving mindset; able to ask the right questions and drive issues to resolution.
