Role Summary:

At Northern Trust, data drives all of our decision-making and HR is no exception. The HR Workforce Analytics team pioneers Northern Trust's approach to talent strategy and organizational growth. As a member of the team, this position will play an important role in helping leverage vast troves of data to generate insights and inform decisioning-making for internal clients across the globe.

As we evolve our Data Solutions function, we're looking for a Consultant, HR Data Analytics. This role is critical in the growth and evolution of reporting and business intelligence solutions that will help drive human capital decisions and enable HR to be more effective through data insights. You will be partnering with different HR COEs, corporate support functions, and business leaders to develop reporting solutions in Workday. You will be a key player in developing the reporting strategy in HR's digital transformation.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Leads end-to-end product lifecycle from requirements gathering, design, implementation, and change management of Workday reporting products.
• Work closely with HR COE leads to deliver report solutions and anticipate report needs.
• Demonstrate an understanding of confidentiality requirements relating to HR and Financial data.
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and drive productivity through reporting solutions and data products.
• Facilitate data extraction, collection, and other strategies that will help optimize efficiency and data quality.
• Coordinate with the Workday Functional Support team and Workday Reporting Team on development of Workday reporting solutions for workforce planning and manager development.
• Orchestrates the product strategy of Workday data products and business intelligence solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in complex report development (advanced report, discovery boards, composite reports, trending reports, calculated fields)
• Basic to Intermediate knowledge in BI applications like Power BI and Tableau
• Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Data Warehousing and SQL
• Preferably with experience with Prism Analytics or Core HCM
• Product Management mindset for continuous product improvement
• A strong understanding of data needs for analysis and business management
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to pinpoint problems in data records based on analysis
• Preferably 3 to 5 years of work experience in any area of HR
