Consultant Expense Specialist

About the Role
Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Consultant Expense Specialist to join our growing Shared Services team in Manila. This role plays a critical part in supporting our consultants by ensuring expense reports are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company and client requirements.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and passionate about delivering a positive customer experience. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with internal stakeholders across payroll, finance, sales, and operations while supporting a high-volume expense management process.
What You'll Do
- Review, process, approve, and reject consultant expense reports in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
- Verify expense submissions for payroll processing and client invoicing.
- Investigate and resolve expense-related issues, discrepancies, and inquiries from consultants and internal teams.
- Provide exceptional customer service while communicating with consultants, recruiters, account managers, and corporate partners.
- Assist with expense audits, compliance reviews, and reporting activities.
- Partner with Finance, Payroll, Revenue, and Operations teams to ensure accurate expense processing.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records while managing a high volume of transactions and requests.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- 1+ years of experience in expense processing, accounts payable, payroll, finance operations, shared services, customer support, or administrative operations.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
