About the Role
We are looking for a Construction Virtual Assistant with hands-on experience supporting construction, property inspection, or home services businesses.
In this role, you will assist in preparing property inspection reports, organizing inspection data, and supporting documentation workflows. This position requires someone who understands residential property components and can confidently work with inspection photos, reports, and technical documentation.
This is ideal for someone who has worked with contractors, inspectors, or property management teams and is comfortable in a detail-driven, process-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete 4-point and wind mitigation inspection reports using structured templates
- Review and organize inspection photos (roof, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
- Accurately label and place images based on property components
- Assist in reviewing inspection data for completeness and accuracy
- Maintain organized file systems for reports, photos, and documentation
- Support documentation and reporting workflows for inspection projects
- Communicate with internal team regarding report updates or missing details
- Ensure all outputs meet quality and formatting standards
- Handle sensitive client and property information with strict confidentiality
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Construction VA, Property Inspection Assistant, or supporting contractors/home service businesses
- Strong understanding of residential construction elements:
- Roofing systems
- Electrical systems
- Plumbing
- HVAC
- Experience working with inspection reports, project documentation, or technical files
- Ability to interpret and organize property inspection photos
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflows
- Proficient in managing digital files, PDFs, and image documentation
- Strong written English communication skills
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with U.S. property inspection standards
- Familiarity with 4-point inspections and wind mitigation reports
- Background in civil engineering, architecture, or construction management
- Experience working with contractors, inspectors, or property maintenance teams
- Previous experience supporting U.S.-based clients
