Communicate the direction of the management and its goals to the team being managed both organic to SMEDD as well as Contractors, vendors, and Suppliers involved in the project
Manage the group and individual performance of his/her team which includes setting direction for the team as aligned with group targets, reviewing the performance and providing necessary guidance
Oversee comprehensive project cost management, including contingencies and unlisted components
Deliver and manage the project/s handled from planning to close out – within the agreed time and quality
Develop a detailed project execution plan including the resources required to complete the project
Plan for strategic options when schedules are falling behind; forecast and initiate plans for anticipated issues
Coordinate and communicate with all the project stakeholders to properly manage expectations
Prepare and Review Project costs and ensure compliance to approved Project Budget
Ensure that everyone on site are informed and strictly following proper safety protocols in the execution of their tasks
JOB REQUIREMENT
Candidates must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. A Postgraduate Diploma or Master's Degree is considered an asset.
A valid professional license is essential.
At least 10 years of working experience in the related field, with 5 years experience in Project Management capacity.
Effective communication skills.
Willing to be deployed to any location nationwide based on organizational needs.
