We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to spearhead major capital investment initiatives, including the construction of new facilities, expansion of existing sites, and the execution of large, complex engineering programs. This leader will guide projects from initial concept and feasibility studies all the way to design, construction, commissioning, and final handover—ensuring each project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with safety and quality standards.
In this role, you'll oversee diverse engineering teams, manage contractor and vendor partnerships, establish and refine engineering standards, and elevate project management excellence across multiple locations.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle—from feasibility assessment and scope definition to budgeting, detailed design, construction, and final turnover.
- Take charge of major CAPEX initiatives across different sites, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and roll out engineering standards, project management frameworks, and best practices across the organization.
- Create project timelines, cost forecasts, risk mitigation plans, and key performance indicators for project evaluation.
- Collaborate closely with Real Estate, Procurement, R&D, Manufacturing, Legal, Facilities, as well as external consultants and contractors.
- Monitor contractor and vendor performance, ensuring adherence to specifications, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance across civil, structural, mechanical, utilities, and construction disciplines.
- Maintain strict compliance with government permits, safety legislation, environmental rules, and industry quality benchmarks.
- Lead problem‑solving efforts, issue escalation, cost control strategies, and change management activities.
- Build team capability through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning initiatives.
- Track global and local industry trends to continuously improve engineering and construction processes.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering; professional licensure is preferred.
- At least 10 years of combined managerial and technical experience in plant engineering, project engineering, or construction leadership roles.
- Proven track record managing large‑scale or multi‑billion‑peso capital projects and facility builds.
- Deep expertise in civil and structural design, mechanical systems, utilities engineering, and full construction execution.
- Strong background in contractor oversight, cost estimating, and project controls.
- Advanced proficiency in project management tools, systems, and methodologies.
- Excellent leadership abilities with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in food manufacturing, industrial plants, or related industries is an advantage; PMP or similar certification is a plus.
- Open to a hybrid work arrangement in Canlubang, Laguna.
