Job Summary
- The Construction Project Manager is a vital contributor to construction projects, responsible for ensuring their safe, efficient, and high-quality execution. This role involves overseeing contractors, coordinating project activities, managing technical aspects, and representing the owner's interests. The Construction Project Manager plays a pivotal role in project success through comprehensive project planning, efficient coordination, vigilant cost management, diligent financial oversight, and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Project Oversight, Safety, Quality, and Technical Compliance
- Ensure contractor compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards.
- Oversee construction activities, emphasizing safety, timeliness, and compliance.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Project Planning, Coordination, and Cost Control
- Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with project plans.
- Implement control measures to manage project scope, time, and costs.
- Cost Management and Financial Oversight (Company)
- Monitor actual team costs against budget and forecast.
- Oversee billing and collections for CM services.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting to maintain accurate financial records and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Required possession of relevant professional certifications or licenses. (i.e., Registered Civil Engineer, Registered Architect, etc.)
- Has a minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.
- Has an in-depth knowledge of construction industry standards, regulations, codes, and best practices.
