The Construction Procurement Manager will oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and contract management of construction materials, equipment, and services for warehouse, logistics hub, and facility development projects. The role ensures cost efficiency, timely delivery, supplier performance, and compliance with company standards while supporting nationwide construction and expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for construction projects including bidding, supplier accreditation, negotiations, and contract administration
- Source and evaluate contractors, suppliers, and vendors for civil works, MEPF, fit-out, and warehouse construction requirements
- Develop procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and project timelines
- Review project plans, BOQs, technical specifications, and material requirements with engineering and project teams
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, service agreements, and supply contracts to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency
- Monitor supplier and contractor performance, delivery schedules, and compliance with project requirements
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, finance, and operations teams to ensure timely procurement and project execution
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor databases in accordance with company policies and audit requirements
- Analyze market trends, pricing movements, and supply chain risks affecting construction materials and services
- Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory standards related to procurement and construction operations
- Support budget planning, cost control, and procurement reporting for management review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in construction procurement, strategic sourcing, or project purchasing
- Experience handling warehouse, industrial, logistics, or large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, contractor management, and procurement processes
- Proven negotiation and vendor management skills
- Familiarity with construction contracts, bidding procedures, and cost analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement systems
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Willing to travel to project sites as needed
