Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Planner to develop and manage construction programs for hydropower projects. The successful candidate will have specific experience in planning complex construction activities, including underground works.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop detailed construction schedules and execution programs for hydropower projects.
- Prepare project master schedules, work programs, and construction sequences.
- Plan major civil, structural, electromechanical, and underground construction activities.
- Develop construction programs for tunnels and other underground works.
- Establish activity durations, logic, milestones, interfaces, and resource requirements.
- Monitor construction progress against approved schedules.
- Identify schedule delays, critical-path activities, and potential bottlenecks.
- Develop recovery and mitigation schedules where required.
- Coordinate construction planning with engineering, procurement, contractors, and project management teams.
- Prepare progress reports, schedule updates, and management recommendations.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in hydropower construction programming.
- Proven experience planning underground works, including tunnels.
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and project controls.
- Experience working on major infrastructure or hydropower projects.
- Proficiency in construction planning and scheduling tools is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills.
