Role Description

We're hiring a Payroll Specialist with strong experience handling US construction payroll in compliance‑heavy environments.

This role is ideal for someone with deep payroll expertise who can confidently manage union and prevailing wage requirements while ensuring accuracy across multi‑state payroll operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of payroll experience

• Construction payroll experience is required

• Experience handling multi‑state payroll environments

• Hands‑on experience with union payroll, prevailing wage, and certified payroll

• Background in payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance‑driven environments

• Strong understanding of multi‑state payroll compliance, payroll taxes, and wage regulations

• Experience reconciling payroll across systems such as BuildOps, General Ledger, and payroll systems

• Strong knowledge of labor allocation, job costing impact, and payroll controls

• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, reconciliations, and audit analysis

• Experience using QuickBooks

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred
