Job Description

Assist the Project Manager to execute the construction work of the Project assigned to him. To meet Total Project Management Services Objectives in every aspect of the Construction Work, which include Time Management, Cost Control, Quality Assurance, Site Administration, and Safety Compliance. To gain customers satisfaction, trust and confidence, and to maintain the company s competitive edge as the Specialist Leader in the Facade Engineering.

Key Expectation:

  • Perform any other tasks and duties as assigned by the Project Manager.


Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management

  • Understanding Contractual Requirements and Scope of Work from Contract Documents, Specifications, Drawings, Mock-up and so on. Assisting the Project Manager in fulfilling Contractual Obligations on Site and Installation Work
  • Assisting the Project Manager in fulfilling and implementing Contractual Obligations on Site and Installation Work

Site Management

  • Working with the Project Managers in the planning of Installation Work, Manpower Distribution, Material Storage, Equipments Allocation and so on.
  • Controlling and Monitoring the Sub Contractors in Material Protection, Storage, Transfer and Installation.
  • Attending Meetings with the Developer, Consultants, Main Contractor and other Sub Contractors for the Coordination and Implementation of Site and Construction Works
  • Attending Morning Exercise, Tool Box Meeting and Housekeeping Exercise as and when required.
  • Working with other Construction Staff in maintaining a proper Site Office.
  • Working with Project Secretary in maintaining a proper Site Documentation System

Manpower Management

  • Assisting the Project Manager in the Planning, Sourcing, Mobilization, Distribution, Allocation, Transfer and Assignment of Manpower
  • Controlling and Maximising the Productivity of Sub Contractor and Workers
  • Leading, Guiding and Training Subordinates. Solving their Problems and Motivating their Performance.

Time Management

  • Working with the Project Manager and Planner in the Planning, Organizing, Sequencing and Scheduling of Site Work to meet the Contractual Program, Main Contractor's Program, Sub Contractor's Micro-Program and so on.
  • Working with the Project Manager, Techinical Dept and other Construction Staff to come up with Time-Saving Construcion Method or Strategy
  • Coordinating and Collarborating with Main Contractor and other Sub Contractor to complete work in shortest time.
  • Foreseeing Construction Problems, Highlighting Delays, and Proposing Solutions to ensure Works can go back on Track as soon as possible

Cost Management

  • Assisting the Project Manager in the Budgetting and Planning of Site, Construction, Material and Equipment Cost before Work Implementation
  • Working with the Project Manager and other Construction Staff in Controlling, Monitoring and Saving of Site, Construction, Material and Equipment Cost during Work in Progress
  • Working with Project Manager, Procurement Department and Quantity Surveyor in Sub Contractor and Supplier Appointment.
  • Reporting in Project Cost Meeting

Quality Management

  • Assisting the Project Manager in Quality Control and Assurance, to achieve the Specified Workmanship, Consultants Requirements, Conquos Score and Quality Mark.
  • Working with QAQC Team in Quality Inspection, Rectifications, Test and Reports.
  • Working with Design Team and Technical Dept to settle various Site, Installation and Material Problems.

Safety Management

  • Assisting the Project Manager in Safety Compliance, Control, Enforcement, Administration, Documentation and Promotion.
  • Working with other Safety and Construction Staff in Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedure Formulation.
  • Coordinating and Collarborating with Main Contractor and other Sub Contractor in fulfilling Authority, Site, Client and Project Safety Requirement.

Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Project Management
  • Have a strong background in managing aluminum / glazing facades projects
  • Understand facade drawings and QA/QC codes
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to deliver quality products within budget and time constraints
  • A team builder with respectful work ethics
