Role Snapshot

You produce accurate MEP estimates that enable informed project decisions and competitive bid submissions for a U.S.-based construction business. Working within defined estimating processes, you review construction documents, prepare quantity takeoffs and change orders, coordinate material and permit requirements, and maintain estimating records that support successful project delivery.

This role operates in a structured offshore environment where accuracy, consistency, and accountability are essential. You'll collaborate closely with a U.S.-based estimating team and field managers while working within established workflows, documentation standards, and review processes. This role is best suited for professionals who enjoy technical analysis, take pride in producing precise work, and perform well in deadline-driven environments.

You're Likely a Strong Fit If You Have

• At least 3 years of estimating experience in plumbing, heating, HVAC, mechanical, or construction projects.
• Experience preparing estimates for residential, commercial, or multi-family construction projects.
• Hands-on experience reviewing plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and construction drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of U.S. plumbing or mechanical construction standards.
• Proficiency using Procore, Bluebeam, or similar quantity takeoff software.
• Experience using construction management platforms such as Procore, Buildertrend, or similar systems.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, piping, hydronic heating systems, boilers, fixtures, and related mechanical components.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and written English communication skills.
• Willingness to work a permanent night shift aligned with U.S. business hours while working remotely anywhere in the Philippines.

Responsibility Pillars

Estimating & Quantity Takeoffs

You own the preparation of accurate estimates that support competitive bids and profitable project delivery through careful analysis of project documentation.

• Prepare quantity takeoffs and detailed change order estimates from plumbing, heating, and mechanical construction drawings.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities before submission.

Material, Permit & Cost Management

You ensure materials, permits, and cost information are complete, accurate, and aligned with project requirements.

• Review plans, specifications, addenda, and project documents to determine material requirements.
• Order permits and trim materials required for project execution.
• Complete cost coding within the accounting system and maintain accurate purchasing records.

Supplier & Bid Coordination

You contribute to competitive and well-supported proposals by coordinating pricing information and preparing complete bid documentation.

• Source and compare supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Assemble bid documentation within established submission deadlines.
• Maintain estimating databases, historical pricing, and supporting documentation.

Client Delivery & Team Collaboration

You maintain consistent estimating quality by working closely with client-aligned teams and following established delivery standards.

• Collaborate with U.S.-based estimators and field managers throughout the estimating process.
• Ensure estimates align with project requirements and operational capabilities.
• Deliver accurate work with minimal estimating errors while meeting established timelines.
