Role snapshot:
- Full-time | Day Shift
- Onsite (Iloilo Office): Bldg. 2, 2nd Floor, Nelly Garden, Jaro, Iloilo City
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft products and estimation tools such as Job Management System, Groundplan, Ascora, Microsoft Excel, and EstimateOne.
- Strong understanding of demolition and/or construction processes, materials, cost estimation, and residential and commercial projects.
What You'll Be Working On
- Draft scopes of work, procure subcontractor quotes, and help finalize head contracts and purchase orders.
- Gather project documentation, develop cost estimates, perform material and labor take-offs, and manage tender requests to ensure sustainable profits and resource efficiency.
- Liaise with Operations to ensure tender allowances, scope, inclusions, specifications, and methodologies are commercially viable.
- Consolidate supplier base, ensure effective estimation tools and systems, and verify subcontractor and supplier competency.
- Submit and follow up on tenders to maximize conversion to orders.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, industry standards, legal, safety, and environmental requirements, and report non-compliance issues to the GM and clients.
- Manage project variations, track costs, certify progress claims, respond to RFIs, and ensure contractual requirements are met.
- Manage multiple tenders, complete daily tender administration, maintain time and margin tracking, and update subcontractor and supplier white/blacklists.
- Alert the GM to subcontractor, supplier, or submission issues affecting project timelines.
- Oversee practical completion and final account settlements.
