Position Overview
The Consolidation Associate is responsible for executing period-end financial consolidation, ensuring accurate group reporting, and maintaining robust intercompany reconciliation processes. This role acts as a key collaborator between subsidiaries and external auditors to ensure compliance with reporting standards.
Job Requirements
Education & Certifications
- Required: Bachelors Degree in Accountancy.
- Required Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Open to Fresh Graduates: Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, provided they hold a valid CPA license.
Technical Knowledge & Experience
- Experience Level: 13 years of experience in external audit within the assurance line of service (ideally at a Senior Associate level of 12 years or a Seasoned Associate level of 23 years).
- Technical Proficiency: Proven experience with SAP HANA, Anaplan Consolidation, and advanced MS Excel.
- Standards & Compliance: Adequate knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and basic taxation rules.
Desired Qualifications (Advantages)
- Experience in end-to-end bookkeeping, statutory reports preparation, and handling year-end audits.
- Experience handling financial consolidation, business combinations, or group reporting for a conglomerate.

Work Schedule Requirements
- Willingness to work overtime to complete critical, time-sensitive deliverables.
- No scheduled personal commitments, travel, or external training during the initial 3-month critical closing/onboarding period.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Consolidation: Perform period-end (monthly, quarterly, and annual) financial consolidation using the companys consolidated system solution (Anaplan).
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements, including relevant schedules, financial analysis, and necessary disclosures.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate the timely receipt of required financial data from various stakeholders and subsidiaries.
- Intercompany Management: Perform intercompany reconciliations, manage data matching, and resolve discrepancies throughout the month while refining intercompany policies.
- Technical Research: Research new PFRS updates, assist in implementing new accounting standards, and prepare corresponding disclosure requirements.
- System Support: Participate in the design, testing, and implementation phases of the company's consolidation system solutions.
- Audit & Compliance: Coordinate and collaborate directly with external auditors to address audit requests, requirements, and inquiries.
- Management Support: Extract, analyze, and prepare ad hoc reports and data summaries to address management inquiries.
- Special Projects: Complete other accounting, internal control, research, and analytical projects as assigned by leadership.
