Headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida, we use proprietary frameworks, such as ExactTalent®, to provide specialized workforce solutions, including permanent placement and contract staffing, across industries such as IT and Healthcare. Simultaneously, our IT and Business Services division offers expert solutions in Software Development, Data & Analytics, and IT Operations, aiming to help organizations worldwide drive digital transformation, improve efficiency, and maintain a competitive edge.

About the Opportunity:

The Configuration Specialist, part of the Professional Services team, is responsible for configuring and building software modules that power our customers day-to-day government operations. Working closely with Implementation Consultants and Implementation Analysts, you will translate customer requirements and business workflows into fully functional, high-quality module configurations using our client's proprietary toolset.

You will play a critical role in the delivery pipeline, ensuring that each module is built accurately, efficiently, and to a standard that enables a seamless go-live experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and configure modules using our proprietary configuration tool, based on requirements and specifications provided by the Implementation Consultant and Implementation Analyst
  • Review and interpret requirements documentation, workflow specs, and customer-specific business rules to ensure accurate module builds
  • Collaborate closely with the Implementation team throughout the build process to clarify requirements, flag ambiguities, and surface potential issues early
  • Perform self-QA on completed configurations prior to handoff, validating that modules meet functional requirements and quality standards
  • Apply knowledge of HTML and SQL where needed to support advanced configuration, custom logic, and data-driven field behavior
  • Maintain clear documentation of configuration decisions and build notes to support consistency across the team and facilitate future updates
  • Manage multiple concurrent module builds, balancing quality and turnaround time in a fast-paced delivery environment
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of build standards, templates, and internal processes to increase team efficiency and output quality
  • Partner with Product and Support teams to stay current on platform updates, new features, and evolving configuration capabilities

Required & Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a software configuration, technical implementation, or SaaS build role required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to translate written requirements into functional system configurations required
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally within a delivery team required
  • Proficiency with tools such as Wrike, Jira, or similar project management platforms preferred
  • Working knowledge of HTML preferred
  • Familiarity with SQL and data concepts such as field mapping, conditional logic, and data validation preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience working with proprietary SaaS configuration or low-code/no-code platforms preferred
  • Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly required
