This is a night shift opportunity to be able to collaborate with US counterparts. We are open to flexible shift hours after training.
What you will do:
When you first arrive, you'll learn about Zywave, our story, our products, our vision, and our process. Once you're up and running, you will work with product development team members to develop cutting edge, best-in-class, SaaS applications. On a regular basis, you will use web-based configuration tools to establish carrier connections, map to common APIs, and build and maintain critical insurance carrier integrations.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong proficiency with JSON and XML
- Demonstrated API knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities
- Experience building and maintaining third-party REST/SOAP API integrations
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges and create efficient software solutions
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated with ability to manage tasks and timelines independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with API testing and collaboration tools (e.g., Postman)
- Hands-on experience testing web-based software applications
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Understanding of the U.S. auto and home insurance industry, including terminology and regulatory processes
- Experience working with insurance-specific formats like Accord XML and JSON schemas
Pluses to Have
- Familiarity with .NET framework
- Experience with Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code and Git
- Knowledge of SQL stored procedures and advanced JSON schemas
- Experience with web scraping technologies (e.g., Selenium)
