Job Overview
Our client is looking for a Concrete Construction Estimator (Residential & Commercial) to support their bidding process by delivering timely and accurate project estimates. In this role, you will handle takeoffs for a variety of custom home and commercial concrete projects with unique plans.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EDT (40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret residential and commercial blueprints to perform accurate concrete quantity takeoffs
- Prepare detailed material and quantity estimates for custom home and spec home projects
- Utilize the company's pricing guide to produce complete estimates including labor and material costs
- Populate standardized PDF templates and reporting formats as defined by the client's SOPs
- Communicate completed estimates and flag any discrepancies or missing plan details to the team
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across all takeoffs to support competitive and reliable bidding
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete takeoffs and estimating for residential and/or commercial projects
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and architectural drawings
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all calculations
- Professional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with standard estimating workflows and quantity surveying principles
