About the Role:
The Concept Artist for the Slots Localization team creates fast, clear, and marketable visual directions for localized slot games on the BingoPlus platform. This role translates game briefs, slot mechanics, market needs, Filipino cultural themes, and provider requirements into concept art, mockups, symbols, characters, environments, and art direction materials. The ideal candidate has slot game experience, strong art fundamentals, AI imaging proficiency, and flexibility across many popular casino visual styles.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop visual concepts based on briefs, product goals, game engines, and provider capabilities.
- Create AI-assisted explorations using tools such as Chatgpt, Magnific, Midjourney, Copilot, OpenArt, or similar platforms.
- Produce mockups that communicate theme, mood, hierarchy, gameplay readability, and market appeal.
- Design key slot assets including Wilds, Scatters, High Pays, Low Pays, characters, environments, logos, reel frames, and UI direction.
- Support art direction documents, moodboards, symbol sheets, visual pillars, and provider handoff materials.
- Study slot games, competitor titles, BingoPlus references, Filipino themes, and provider art styles.
- Review provider outputs and give clear feedback on theme clarity, symbol readability, consistency, and BingoPlus quality.
- PLUS: able to create simple animation mockups or motion previews using animation software or AI tools when needed.
Qualifications:
- Has slot game experience or strong familiarity with casino art, symbol hierarchy, and player facing visual appeal.
- Strong in illustration, concept design, composition, color, lighting, stylization, and visual hierarchy.
- Proficient with AI imaging tools while maintaining strong human art judgment and taste.
- Familiar with Filipino culture, local themes, mythology, traditions, humor, festivals, and visual references. Filipino sensibility and taste is one of the team's crucial tool.
- Flexible in a fast, agile pre-production process where speed, clarity, and iteration matter.
- Comfortable with slot styles such as Asian fortune, mythology, fantasy, adventure, horror, festival, luxury casino, and cute casual.
- Able to balance creative ambition with production feasibility, timeline pressure, and business goals.
- Communicates ideas clearly through mockups, references, motion previews, notes, and concise art direction documentation.
