The Vice President/Comptroller directs the internal accounting and financial reporting function of the company in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to provide regular accurate and timely reports. The Comptroller assists the Chief Finance Officer in planning and executing strategies and monitoring the activities of the Finance team.
Accounting
. Oversees the conduct of statutory reporting and audits to ensure that financial statements are free of material misstatement and are fairly presented in accordance with Philippine Accounting and reporting standards.
. Ensures healthy interfaces and relationships with other finance and non-finance functions, the Chief Finance Officer Members of the Senior Leadership Team, EXCOM and board of directors in planning, leading and organizing activities that are aligned with the strategic goals of the company.
. Drives changes and initiatives in systems, process and technologies to achieve cost operational efficiency
. Champions the drive to find, develop and keep talented people providing the right technical skills and structure that add value to the accounting function and business as a whole
Performance Analytics
. Raises capital to support the company's operations, capital expenditures and other investments
. Identifies the appropriate debt structure for its working capital
. Negotiates the terms of all debt structure
Financial Management
. Manages the company's cash flow
. Manages treasury administration and ensures proper utilization of the company's financial resources
. Handles day to day financial requirements of the company
. Ensures efficient cash management
Capital Budgeting
. Participates actively in the evaluation of proposed projects or introduction based on risks and expected returns
. Balances managing risk and maximizing return in the assessment of projects and innovations
15 years relevant working experience
Preferably a Certified Public Accountant
Strong people management skills
