Compliance Supervisor (Safety/PCO)

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements related to Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (SHES). The role is responsible for identifying, anticipating, and mitigating potential compliance risks by establishing and implementing effective control procedures. This position plays a critical role in upholding the company's commitment to SHES standards, safeguarding operational integrity, and ensuring consistent regulatory compliance across the organization.

JOB SCOPE

• Ensures the company's compliance with all applicable SHES regulatory requirements through the timely submission of applications, documentation, and requirements for necessary permits and licenses;
• Ensures that the legal requirements and conditions of permits and licenses are properly implemented and maintained;
• Supports the implementation of plans and programs of the Safety and Health Committee to promote and sustain a strong safety culture within the company;
• Oversees and monitors the implementation of the company's Compliance Policies, Procedures, Programs, and Systems;
• Coordinates with relevant government regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, permits, and licensing requirements;
• Monitors regulatory deadlines and ensures timely renewal and submission of required permits, licenses, reports, and other compliance documents;
• Maintains accurate and organized records of regulatory documents, permits, licenses, and compliance reports;
• Assists in identifying potential compliance gaps and recommends appropriate corrective and preventive actions;
• Performs other related SHES and administrative tasks as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of any 4-year course;
• With at least 5 years of experience in handling government regulatory agencies, preferably within an FMCG or manufacturing company;
• Must be a Certified Pollution Control Officer (PCO);
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and cross-functional teams;
• Knowledge of applicable SHES laws, regulations, permits, and government compliance requirements is an advantage.
