Compliance Quality Assurance and Analytics Division Head
Job Summary
The Head of Compliance Quality Assurance and Analytics Division (CQAAD) is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization's Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulatory reporting functions to ensure accuracy, integrity, efficiency, and regulatory adherence. The role establishes and executes a comprehensive quality assurance framework while leveraging data-driven analytics to identify risks, trends, and control weaknesses, enabling proactive decision-making and continuous improvement. As a trusted advisor to senior management and regulators, the CQAAD Head promotes accountability, transparency, and operational excellence by combining strategic leadership, technical expertise, and deep knowledge of banking products, services, and processes to strengthen governance, enhance compliance performance, and protect the organization's reputation.
Responsibilities
- Establish, execute, and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance framework covering regulatory adherence, compliance process effectiveness, and control validation.
- Oversee periodic reviews of compliance monitoring processes and regulatory reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify systemic weaknesses and recommend corrective actions to strengthen compliance controls.
- Ensure timely escalation and resolution of non-compliance issues, including inaccurate or incomplete regulatory reports.
- Lead the development of analytics models and dashboards to monitor compliance performance and risk indicators.
- Oversee the preparation of compliance assurance reports for senior management, the Audit Committee, and regulators.
- Maintain documentation standards and audit trails for quality assurance and analytics activities.
- Collaborate with Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Legal teams to align quality assurance efforts.
- Perform all other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by L1, L2, or L3 Heads.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Banking and/or Regulatory Compliance or Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Operational, Process, and Systems Audit.
- 3 to 5 years of experience leading automation projects as a Project Team Leader.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in data analytics and workflow automation tools.
- Deep understanding of local regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., BSP, AMLC, etc.)
- Knowledge of enterprise risk management and governance structures
- Knowledge of audit and quality assurance standards, methodologies, and industry best practices
- Comprehensive knowledge of banking products, services, and operations
- Strong grounding in ethical standards, transparency, and accountability principles
- Familiarity with RegTech solutions, including AI-driven compliance monitoring
- Continuous process improvement mindset and methodologies
- Knowledge of industry benchmarks and best practices for compliance assurance
