Compliance Officer - FinTech/Payments

We're exclusively partnering with a leading payments company for an exciting role in Singapore.

Position: Compliance Officer - FinTech/Payments

Location: Singapore (Singapore citizens only)

What you'll do:

• Manage the company's compliance with MAS requirements and act as a key point of contact for regulators
• Oversee the company's AML/CFT framework, including policies, risk assessment and controls
• Maintain and enhance the compliance framework, including policies, procedures, controls and regulatory processes
• Prepare regulatory filings and reports, and support audits and regulatory reviews
• Monitor changes in Singapore regulations and advise management on their impact
• Assess new products, partners and vendors for compliance risk
• Manage compliance requirements from banking and financial institution partners
• Report compliance matters and key risks to senior leadership

What we're looking for:

• Singapore Citizen
• 4+ years of compliance or regulatory experience in payments, fintech, banking or financial services
• In-depth knowledge of Singapore's financial laws and regulations
• Strong AML/CFT knowledge, including KYC, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring and AML risk assessments
• Experience dealing with regulators, such as filings, reporting, audits or regulatory reviews
• Experience designing or implementing compliance policies, procedures and internal controls
• Ability to assess compliance risk in new products, partners and vendors
• Clear communicator who can advise senior leadership and work across teams
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in a fast-growing environment

Preferred:

• Experience with payments, especially cross-border payments
• Experience working with MAS on licensing or other regulatory matters
