Compliance Associate (Safety and Environment)

Job Summary:

The Compliance Associate will be responsible for ensuring that all government permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements are secured, updated, and maintained. The role will proactively assess compliance risks, coordinate with various government agencies, and partner with internal teams to support the company's compliance objectives while ensuring zero breach in compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Liaise with government agencies such as:
• DOLE, DENR, PDEA, PNP, and City Government offices (Land and Zoning, CBO, etc.)
• Ensure timely updating, renewal, and monitoring of all permits and licenses.
• Work closely with different departments to fulfill compliance requirements.
• Implement compliance programs and track progress through KPI reporting.
• Represent the company in dealings with external regulatory bodies.
• Proactively assess and mitigate compliance risks.
• Ensure effective control procedures are in place to prevent compliance breaches.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams on compliance initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any 4-year course.
• With at least 2 years of experience of handling government regulatory agencies, preferably in a manufacturing firm.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
• Has an ability to work with multiple departments.
