Job Description

Job Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Open to candidates with no prior work experience.
  • Experience in non-life insurance is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and compile regulatory reports and filings for the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Insurance Commission (IC), and Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC).
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of BIR tax returns, including Summary Alphalist of Withholding Tax (SAWT) and Summary List of Sales and Purchases (SLSP).
  • Prepare and review Fire Service Tax (FST), investment, and foreign exchange reports for submission to the Insurance Commission.
  • Verify and review the completeness of client information sheets to ensure compliance with AMLC requirements.
  • Conduct ongoing research on new and updated regulations issued by governing bodies and assess their impact on the company.
  • Coordinate the release of check vouchers and ensure timely payment to payees.
  • Provide support during audits and examinations conducted by External Auditors and the Insurance Commission, particularly for year-end financial statements
