Job Description

We are looking for a Compliance Assistant to join our Compliance Team and support the Bank in maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, AML requirements, and internal policies. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates who are interested in pursuing a career in Banking, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, and Compliance Testing.

Key responsibilities

Assist in monitoring compliance with AMLA, regulatory requirements, and internal policies and procedures.
Support compliance testing and monitoring activities to assess adherence to regulatory and internal requirements.
Assist in reviewing transactions, customer information, and relevant documentation for potential AML/compliance concerns.
Help identify, document, and escalate compliance exceptions and findings.
Assist in conducting research and monitoring new or amended regulatory issuances.
Prepare compliance reports, working papers, and documentation for review.
Support the implementation and updating of compliance policies and procedures.
Coordinate with various departments regarding compliance findings and required corrective actions.
Maintain accurate and confidential compliance records.
Perform other compliance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Banking, or other related courses.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Candidates with internship or entry-level experience in banking, compliance, or finance are an advantage
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Willing to learn banking regulations, AML/CTF requirements, and compliance processes.
Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
