The Role
- Monitors applicable national and local regulations related to renewable energy project development
- Tracks regulatory requirements from government agencies relevant to project permits and approvals
- Ensures project activities comply with environmental, land use, and permitting regulations
- Prepares and compiles documentation required for permit applications and regulatory submissions
- Coordinates with government agencies regarding permit requirements and compliance matters
- Supports submission of permit applications and follow-ups with relevant authorities
- Assists in scheduling meetings and site visits with regulatory representatives, when required
- Maintains internal tracking systems for permit status, regulatory approvals, and compliance deadlines
- Monitors compliance milestones and notify relevant teams of upcoming regulatory requirements
- Ensures proper documentation of permits, approvals, and regulatory conditions
- Supports the improvement of internal compliance monitoring systems
- Prepares periodic reports on permitting and regulatory compliance status
The Individual
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Public Administration, Legal Management, Political Science, or a related field
- At least 2 – 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, permitting, or government liaison work
- Knowledgeable in national and local regulations on renewable energy, land use, and environmental permitting
- Skilled in preparing documentation, tracking approvals, and coordinating with government agencies
- Background in developing and maintaining compliance tracking systems and generating accurate regulatory reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to be based in Makati City, with extensive travel to project sites
