What is your missionWe are looking for a Compliance Accountant to manage general accounting, financial close processes, and contractual obligation tracking.You will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements while ensuring compliance with contract terms and deadlines. You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:
- Assist in financial close process, including preparation of month-end journal entries and reconciliations.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and monitor intercompany transactions.
- Prepare financial statements and internal reports.
- Perform margin analytics focused on contractual obligations.
- Calculate and review contractual obligation payments and track minimum guarantees.
- Review contract renewals, amendments, and new agreements from a financial perspective.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with contract terms and deadlines.
- Assist in financial and statutory audit preparation.
- Complete special projects and support other teams as needed.
Who are we looking for- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in general accounting, including accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Experience in monthly/quarterly/year-end closing processes.
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, complex formulas).
- Knowledge of intercompany reconciliations is a plus.
- Familiarity with contract review and compliance processes.
- Exposure to contractual accounting (royalties, rebates, consignment inventory).
- Strong analytical skills for trend analysis and insights.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and reporting requirements.
- Experience working on a night shift.
