Job Description

About the Role

The Compensation & Benefits Specialist is responsible for the administration, implementation, and monitoring of the organization's compensation and benefits programs. This role ensures accurate payroll-related data, compliance with labor regulations, competitive compensation practices, and effective benefits management to support employee satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

Compensation Administration

  • Administer employee compensation programs, including salary adjustments, promotions, and merit increases
  • Assist in salary benchmarking and market competitiveness studies
  • Maintain and update compensation records and employee data
  • Support annual compensation reviews and budgeting activities
  • Ensure compliance with company compensation policies and procedures

Benefits Administration

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including government-mandated and company-sponsored benefits
  • Coordinate enrollment, updates, and employee inquiries related to benefits
  • Liaise with benefit providers and government agencies as needed
  • Monitor benefits utilization and recommend improvements

Payroll Support & Compliance

  • Validate compensation and benefits data to support payroll processing
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR regulations)
  • Assist in audits and preparation of government and internal reports
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compensation and benefits

Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare compensation and benefits reports and dashboards
  • Analyze compensation and benefits trends to support management decisions
  • Generate HR metrics related to employee costs, salary movements, and benefits utilization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory benefits administration
  • Experience supporting payroll processes and HR data management
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, reporting)
  • Experience using Sprout HRIS is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and numerical aptitude
