Job Title: HR Compensation and Benefits Specialist

Job Summary

The HR Compensation and Benefits Specialist is responsible for administering, analyzing, and continuously improving company's compensation and benefits programs to ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, and compliance with labor laws. This role supports the company's objective of attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent through fair and sustainable total rewards strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain compensation and benefits programs, including salaries, incentives, bonuses, and allowances
  • Manage employee benefits such as HMO, insurance, leaves, retirement plans, and government-mandated benefits
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of compensation-related transactions and benefits enrollments
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market surveys to ensure competitiveness and internal alignment
  • Support annual compensation reviews, merit increases, and incentive programs
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and government statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR)
  • Coordinate with payroll providers and internal finance teams to resolve compensation and benefits issues
  • Handle employee inquiries related to compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs
  • Prepare reports, analytics, and presentations related to compensation and benefits
  • Review and recommend enhancements to benefits offerings based on employee needs and business direction
  • Support audits and ensure proper documentation of compensation and benefits policies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
  • At least 24 years of experience in compensation and benefits or total rewards management
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory benefits
  • Experience working with payroll systems and HRIS platforms
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity

Preferred Competencies

  • Experience in corporate or real estate/property development industries
  • Background in salary structuring, job evaluation, and benefits design
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
