The Compensation & Benefits Officer (Supervisory Level) is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end administration of compensation, benefits, government-mandated compliance, and payroll-related processes for The Aivee Group. This role ensures accuracy of employee compensation, timely release of benefits, and strict adherence to labor and statutory regulations. The position also supervises C&B staff, supports compensation planning, and provides data-driven insights to support HR strategies and organizational decisions.
1. Compensation Management
- Oversee and validate monthly payroll processing in coordination with the Payroll team.
- Ensure accuracy of salary computation, adjustments, allowances, overtime, incentives, and deductions.
- Manage salary movements including salary increases, promotions, demotions, and reclassifications.
- Conduct periodic salary benchmarking and market research to support compensation planning.
- Maintain and update compensation structures, pay grades, and job classification systems.
2. Benefits Administration
- Supervise and manage the administration of all company and statutory benefits (HMO, leave benefits, incentives, allowances, insurance, etc.).
- Ensure employees timely enrollment, updating, and deletion in HMO and insurance plans.
- Oversee and monitor leave credits, conversions, and annual crediting.
- Handle employee benefit inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
3. Government-Mandated Compliance
- Oversee compliance and timely submission of reports for SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR, and DOLE.
- Review and validate employee contributions, loans, and statutory deductions.
- Coordinate with government agencies on updates, audits, and compliance requirements.
4. Payroll & Records Management
- Validate payroll reports, employee movements, and supporting documents.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of 201 files, compensation records, and employee benefit documents.
- Oversee tax annualization, Alpha list preparation, and year-end compensation reports.
5. Audits, Reporting, and Analytics
- Prepare compensation analytics, costing reports, and headcount summaries for management decision-making.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Recommend improvements in processes, systems, and policies to enhance efficiency.
6. Supervisory Functions
- Supervise Compensation & Benefits staff and provide training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Ensure adherence to HR and organizational policies.
- Streamline workflows and ensure timely completion of department deliverables.
7. Ad Hoc
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned either individually or as part of a committee.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, or HR operations; with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, government-mandated benefits, and payroll processes.
- Proficient in HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferably with experience in healthcare, medical, or service-oriented industry (an advantage).
