Responsibilities:
· Assess nursing care needs of employees and provide first aid treatment, medications, and health assessments.
· Ensure availability, update or maintain inventory of medicines and clinic supplies.
· Create and manage the employee database on health and wellness.
· Inspect work areas daily to ensure employee safety and report health hazards to the local leadership team and endorse for possible corrective action and monitoring/correction.
· Submit incident reports with details of employee conditions and actions taken regularly.
· Assist in the Annual Physical Exam (APE) program and help provide insight on APE results or pre-employment medical (PEME) assessments.
· Coordinate with HMO provider or external clinic/hospital on utilization and validations of medical reports, medical certificates, or fit-to-work certifications.
· Evaluate employees returning to work to determine their fitness for duty.
· Observe infection control precautions in employee care.
· Prepare and submit medical status and utilization reports as needed.
· Collaborate with People & Culture in processing invoices related to HMO or health insurance (SSS Maternity, SSS Sickness, LOA/LOE, etc.)
· Establish and promote a healthy, safe, and productive work environment in partnership with the Workplace Experience Manager and People & Culture.
· Provide health or wellness teachings to manage illness and prevent recurrence.
· Create and implement annual health, wellness, safety, and illness prevention programs.
· Engage in training, development, and other company initiatives.
· Participate in DOLE compliance activities on OSHA and OHNAP.
· Act as one of the Subject Matter Experts (SME) on regulatory compliance in OSHS and ensure the company is adhering to the regulatory requirements or provisions, and coordinate/assist in projects & effective communication as needed
