Role Description The Company Nurse role at POWERCHINA is a full-time, on-site position based in General Santos. The Company Nurse provides direct nursing care to employees, including initial assessment, treatment of minor injuries and illnesses, and appropriate referrals to external healthcare providers when needed. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring employee health, maintaining medical records, administering first aid, and supporting occupational health and safety initiatives. The role also involves conducting health education sessions, assisting with wellness programs, and collaborating with safety officers to ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards. The Company Nurse works closely with management and staff to promote a healthy work environment and timely response to medical concerns.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Registered Nurse with valid local registration and up-to-date certifications in basic life support and first aid.
  • Experience in occupational health, corporate or industrial nursing, or clinic/hospital settings.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety practices, incident reporting, and emergency response procedures.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records, documenting assessments, and preparing health-related reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently on-site in General Santos, manage multiple tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment.
  • Familiarity with health promotion, wellness programs, and preventive healthcare initiatives.
  • Comfort using basic office software and electronic health documentation systems.
  • Flexibility to support company operations, including occasional extended hours during emergencies or special activities.
