Provides preliminary health treatment to employees requiring immediate medical attention by performing basic first aid techniques to stabilize patient until competent medical authorities could take over.
Prepares and facilitate various programs and activities to promote and maintain health and safety workplace. Moreover, coordinates with external healthcare providers for the implementation of such programs.
Maintains records of employees medical information and its confidentiality and prepares medical report including work related illnesses/injury and summary of medical consultations encountered at the clinic and be submitted and presented during the IMS and Safety & Health monthly meeting.
Facilitates Annual Physical Exam/Semi-annual Eye Test of all regular employees and their dependents. Also, assist in the Executive Check-up of the Top Management in coordination with the affiliate healthcare providers.
Assist the Company Physician during his schedule of duty. Evaluates and verifies Medical Certificates submitted by ill employees upon their resume to work.
Assists and evaluates pre-employment examination of possible applicants to ensure that the newly hired employee is fit for any kind of work that will be assigned to him/her by the company.
Conducts DOLE related orientation to newly hired employees (Sexual Harassment, Drug Free workplace, Solo Parent Act, HIV Awareness).
Dispenses medications for simple ailments to ensure that the concerned employee will be given appropriate medications for a fast relief.
Prepares monthly inventory report of medicines and actual usage for proper monitoring of supplies and recommend purchase of medicines and other required equipment to ensure that the clinic has an available medicine for simple ailment and during emergency cases.
Assist breastfeeding mother in expressing their milk in the lactation station. Cleaning and sterilizing before and after using the equipments.
Prepares monthly illnesses report of regular employees and giving recommendation of various programs in decreasing/ preventing the Top Illnesses in coordination with our company physician and reporting it during Monthly IMS Meeting.
