Position Overview
Provides quality nursing care, ensures compliance with health and sanitation requirements, and delivers assigned responsibilities in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Assists company doctor in Clinic consultations, pre-employment medical exam, emergency response including first aid and documentation, attending to medical queries of employees and administrative tasks.
- Assist employees in the Annual Physical Exam.
- Checks medical results of newly hired, validates RTW, assists APE, Health Certificate renewal and coordinates medical needs of Third-Party Agency (TPA) employees as needed.
- Facilitates completion of medical part of SSS sickness and employee's compensation notification forms of employees.
- Assists Company Doctor in the issuance of Return-to-work clearance-sickness
- Coordinates with Caloocan City Health Department in processing Health Certificate and Sanitary Permit.
- HMO tasks:
- Assists the company Doctor in filling out claim forms covered by HMO
- Helps the management in outsourcing HMO providers or health and wellness suppliers.
- Issuance of Letter of Authorization (LOA) of HMO entitled employees.
- Issuance of Letter of Authorization to Accredited Hospital as needed.
- Monthly Bulletin Board Update and Health Advisories
- Health monitoring and coordination with LGU for the emerging infectious diseases and diseases of public health concern.
- Advises Security department of employees who are on medical leave.
- Daily Monitoring of Medicines and First Aid Kit
- Facilitates medical procedures under the direct supervision of the Company Doctor such as but not limited to testing and treatment.
- Facilitates Online Consultation (through social media) of members based in C3 Plant, Caloocan City, this includes Frabelle Market Corporation, Westpac Processing, Frabelle Cold Storage and Amenico employees.
- Attends HR, medical and necessary meetings and engagements
- Co-custodian of the Emergency Vehicle.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Licensed to practice nursing profession in the Philippines
- Preferably completed OHNAP (Occupational Health Nurses Association of the Philippines) Certificate or Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training
- Preferably with Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience
- At least 1 year of work-related experience in hospital, primary care setting or industrial health facility.
- Working in a field with exposure to handling HMO, health benefits are an advantage.
Skills
- Able to Handle confidential and sensitive information.
