As the Company Nurse, you are the frontline provider for our employees health and safety. You are more than just a medical professional; you are a wellness advocate who ensures that our workplace remains a healthy environment. Your mission is to provide immediate care for injuries or illnesses, manage medical records, and promote long-term wellness programs that keep our team at their best.
Core Responsibilities
- First Aid & Clinical Care: Provide immediate nursing care and first aid for work-related injuries or sudden illnesses. Administer basic medications and treatments as needed.
- Health Monitoring: Conduct initial health screenings, such as checking blood pressure, temperature, and basic physical assessments for employees.
- Case Management: Assist the Company Doctor in managing medical leaves, return-to-work clearances, and follow-ups for employees with chronic conditions.
Inventory Management: Ensure the clinic and all first-aid kits across the facility are fully stocked with unexpired medicines and medical supplies.
- Wellness Initiatives: Support the HR team in launching health campaigns, such as vaccination drives, ergonomic workshops, and mental health awareness programs.
- Medical Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate, digital, and confidential Employee Health Records, ensuring all data is handled according to privacy laws (like HIPAA or local equivalents).
- Safety Coordination: Participate in the Health and Safety Committee to identify workplace hazards and suggest improvements to prevent accidents.
