Position Overview

We are currently seeking Company Nurse and Administration Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide general first aid to people when required, assess people health risks, and promote team member's health. The company nurse shall manage people welfare in support of People initiatives and programs and will be responsible for providing organisational and administrative support to all relevant functions within the Organisation as directed by the People Manager.

Core Responsibilities

Company Nurse

  • Responsible for ensuring a healthy and productive work environment in the workplace;
  • Responsible for providing nursing techniques for the curative, preventive, rehabilitative and administrative aspects of team member's health care;
  • Responsible for providing emergency care and treatment to all team members within the legal scope of nursing responsibility (first aid, checking of vital signs, health interview, dispensing proper medications as needed);
  • Responsible for monitoring, assessing, and determining the health status of the team members during and after an illness;
  • Responsible for accompanying the injured team member to the nearest hospital in case of any accident;
  • Responsible for rendering home/hospital visit and provides necessary care and treatment to team members visited as well as the report for the home/hospital visit rendered;
  • Responsible for preparing Department of Labor and Employment reports such as Annual Medical Report, Annual Work Accident/Illness Exposure Data Report and Safety Organization Report in coordination with the Safety Officer;
  • Responsible for monitoring attendance in relation to sick leaves;
  • Provides sickness benefit assistance, processing and checking of SSS sickness benefit application and requirements in coordination with People Team;
  • Responsible for disseminating health information through company publications, bulletin boards, gives health teachings, lectures and counselling;
  • Responsible for maintaining individual medical records of all team members, including the Employee Compensation (EC) Logbook;
  • Responsible for coordinating with People Team the review of all sick leave application;
  • Responsible for assessing and reporting occupational health problems and hazards with emphasis on prevention;
  • Responsible for conducting inventory of medicines and other supplies and ensures that needed medicines, supplies, equipment and instruments are always available;
  • Responsible for preparing monthly clinic report on consultation, frequently reported illnesses, medicine consumption and work related accidents;
  • Responsible for handling the result of annual physical examination and monitors the compliance of the team members on all treatments and prescriptions as ordered by the physician;
  • Responsible for preparing and proposing projects on team member wellness and other health related activities in coordination with the People team;
  • Responsible for ensuring that policies, procedures and other documents (forms, work instructions, etc.) relating to the nurse function are up to date and properly documented in accordance with the Quality Management Systems (QMS) standard;
  • Supports the People initiatives relevant to Company health and wellness;
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities that maybe assigned by the Head of Office Services or Management.

Administration

  • Responsible for all reception duties, attending to visitors, calls, deliveries, manage mail service and corporate schedules;
  • Responsible for facilities management in coordination with Building Administration. This includes preparation, submission and filing of relevant documents, work permits and gate pass
  • Responsible for providing support for company compliance relating to permitting requirements, process documentary and material requirements in coordination with experts: Safety Officer, Company Nurse and Finance;
  • Responsible for general asset and inventory control including supply and vendor management, petty cash and expense control with sourcing and selection of needed items and services;
  • Responsible for providing travel services, booking and trip coordination, preparation of travel itinerary;
  • Responsible for planning preparation and budget management for company events and collaborates with People and Engagement Teams including event logistics;
  • Participates in safety and programs as required.

Work Experience

  • At least 5 years experience working in company nurse role

Education/Training

  • Registered Nurse
  • BOSH-OHNAP Training and other certification an advantage

Software & Technology

  • Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems
  • Microsoft Office 365 Suite and related products
