Company Driver

Description

Responsible for the transport of the passengers and packages to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, and performing the vehicle's basic preventive maintenance when required.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers and/or materials efficiently and safely to various locations by strictly following given instructions.
• Strictly observe punctuality in picking up and dropping off passengers and materials.
• Exhibit professionalism in dealing with passengers, especially guests and company executives.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in situations where conversations are overheard during the transport of passengers.
• Drive various types of vehicles like cars, vans and utility vehicles as may be required by the company.
• Ensure that the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the vehicle is always maintained.
• Assist in the basic preventive maintenance of the vehicle and report any findings during checking or using the vehicle to the immediate superior for proper action.
• Ensure that no alterations/modifications of any kind is made on the equipment unless approved by the Management.

Skills and Qualifications

• At least high school graduate
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a company or family Driver
• Knowledgeable in the traffic rules in Metro Manila
• Can drive day or night at least 5 to 9hrs
• Follow work instructions and company rules
• Can get along well with supervisor and co-employees
• Trust-worthy, industrious, give-importance to the value of work
