Job Description

About the Role

SN Aboitiz Power Group is hiring a Community Relations Specialist to build and safeguard our positive corporate reputation across key Hydropower Development Projects—including Alimit HEPP, Alimit PSH, Magat PSH, and Itogon HEPP. Reporting directly to the Community Relations Consultant and Project Managers, you will cultivate local community networks, execute CSR initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance in project influence areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Community & Institutional Engagement: Build and sustain strong support networks across LGUs, local communities, and private sector organizations through targeted relationship-building activities.
  • Stakeholder & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain active engagement while ensuring strict compliance with regulatory bodies, including NCIP, DENR, NWRB, NHCP, NCCA, and LGUs.
  • Fieldwork Facilitation & Safety: Assess physical, facility, and security conditions periodically to ensure safe, seamless field surveys and research activities.
  • CSR Project Execution: Conduct priority needs assessments in project-affected communities to help plan, deliver, and monitor CSR programs.
  • Best Practice Sharing: Contribute to a strong community relations culture by sharing insights and mentoring team members on effective engagement practices.

Role Qualifications

Experience & Background:

  • At least 3 years of work experience in community organizing and development, preferably under local government service, NCIP, or outreach programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with local government units and indigenous communities.
  • Familiarity with the Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) process and stakeholder engagement frameworks.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Any 4-year course).
