ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Community Relations Executive who actively engages in professional tech communities and trade associations focused on data, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, enterprise technology, and innovation.

These communities bring together industry professionals, technology leaders, startups, researchers, and solution providers to share insights, explore emerging trends, and collaborate on real-world challenges.

This role centres on relationship-driven lead generation, with active involvement in online events, discussions, and community platforms to build connections, uncover opportunities, and convert conversations into qualified leads.

The candidate will have the opportunity to move up the sales ladder to conduct discovery calls, enable requirements capture, send proposal and even close deals.

This is a remote role for candidates from the Philippines who are available at least 25 (negotiable up to 40) hours per week .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage and participate in tech communities, forums, and trade associations relevant to data, AI, digital transformation, and enterprise technology.
  • Build and nurture relationships with industry professionals, startups, researchers, and solution providers.
  • Identify and convert opportunities from community interactions into qualified leads for the business.
  • Represent the company at online events, discussions, and community platforms, promoting its expertise and solutions.
  • Monitor trends and insights within professional ecosystems to inform strategic engagement and lead generation activities.
  • Help close deals with a qualified lead (optional)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS (Must-haves)

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in lead generation, community engagement, or business development within tech or B2B environments.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus networking instincts and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong follow-through with the ability to nurture conversations from first interaction to discovery call.
  • High attention to detail and ability to identify alignment opportunities through observation and listening.
  • Available to attend online events in the UK between 9am and 4pm GMT, where needed.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS (Nice-to-haves)

  • Experience working with or engaging in professional tech communities or trade associations.
  • Proven experience in B2B & B2B2C lead generation for global tech markets.
  • Ability to understand and discuss tech concepts (AI, data, enterprise tech) at a conversational and contextual level.
  • Comfortable representing a company in external communities, events, and industry forums.
  • Ability to multitask across events, conversations, and follow-ups.
  • Quick learner who can grasp new domains and industry nuances quickly.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, online event platforms, and community tools such as Discord, Slack or Basecamp.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Copilot to enhance work productivity.
