Community Relations Coordinator - Consultant

About the Role

SN Aboitiz Power Group is seeking a Community Relations Coordinator - Consultant to build and safeguard our positive corporate image across key Hydropower Development Projects—including Alimit HEPP, Alimit PSH, Magat PSH, and Itogon HEPP. Reporting directly to the Director and Deputy Director of Hydro, you will act as a key liaison to foster strong local networks, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and ensure full regulatory compliance across our project influence areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Community & Institutional Engagement: Establish and maintain strong support networks across LGUs, private sector organizations, and local communities in project areas.
• Regulatory Compliance & Advocacy: Drive compliance with key regulatory bodies including NCIP, DENR, NWRB, NHCP, NCCA, and local government units.
• Field Survey Support & Risk Assessment: Periodically assess physical, facility, and security conditions to ensure safe, smooth conduct for fieldwork and research teams.
• CSR Project Execution: Conduct priority needs assessments within project-affected communities and assist in delivering tailored CSR initiatives.
• Reporting & Strategy: Track and report progress to management, shareholders, and external stakeholders, developing strategies to increase social acceptability for proposed projects.

Role Qualifications

Experience & Background:

• At least 5 years of experience in community organizing and development, preferably within local government service, NCIP, or outreach programs.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining strategic partnerships with local government units, IP communities, and private sector groups.
• Familiarity with the Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) process and stakeholder management frameworks.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree (Any 4-year course).
