Job Description

Job Title: Communications Manager

Location: Seda BGC, Bonifacio Global City

Reports To: General Manager / Director of Business Development

Job Summary

The Communications Manager is responsible for managing the hotel's public relations, brand communications, and marketing initiatives to enhance visibility, reputation, and revenue. This role oversees media relations, digital presence, promotional campaigns, and guest feedback management, including responding to online reviews through platforms such as Revinate. The position ensures consistent brand messaging and supports overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Public Relations & Brand Management

  • Develop and execute PR strategies to promote Seda BGC's brand, outlets, and services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and key partners.
  • Prepare press releases, media kits, and official statements.
  • Coordinate media coverage, events, and hotel features.

Marketing & Promotions

  • Plan and implement marketing campaigns to drive room, F&B, and event revenues.
  • Create and promote offers, packages, and seasonal promotions in coordination with Operations and Sales teams.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
  • Ensure all promotional materials align with brand standards.

Digital & Online Presence

  • Manage the hotel's online presence including website content and social media platforms.
  • Coordinate with corporate or external agencies for digital campaigns and content creation.
  • Monitor online engagement and performance metrics.

Guest Feedback & Reputation Management

  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest reviews and feedback via platforms such as Revinate, Google, TripAdvisor, and OTAs.
  • Analyze guest feedback trends and provide actionable insights to Operations teams.
  • Ensure service recovery is properly addressed and documented.

Content Creation

  • Develop engaging content including social media posts, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and visual branding.
  • Support photography and videography requirements for marketing use.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with Sales, F&B, and Operations teams to align campaigns and promotions.
  • Prepare regular reports on PR activities, campaign performance, and online reputation scores.
  • Monitor marketing budget and ensure cost-effective initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in marketing, PR, or communications, preferably in hospitality.
  • Strong background in digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
  • Experience in handling online reputation platforms (e.g., Revinate, TripAdvisor).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
