Communication and Social Media Intern

This intern supports internal communications and the employer brand across social media channels, working on content that reaches employees, candidates and university partners.

Work Setup:

• Remote for applicants outside Cebu City
• Hybrid for applicants within Cebu City.

What You'll Do:

Content Creation

• Draft posts, captions, announcements and short-form copy for internal and external channels
• Produce simple graphics, carousels and short videos using approved brand templates

Social Media Management

• Maintain the content calendar and schedule posts across LinkedIn, Facebook and other channels
• Monitor comments and engagement and flag items needing a response

Employer Brand and Coverage

• Cover company events, programs and employee stories through photos, interviews and write-ups
• Support newsletters, digital signage and campaign rollouts

Reporting

• Track reach, engagement and follower growth, and prepare a monthly performance summary

What We're Looking For

• Pursuing Communication, Journalism, Multimedia Arts, Marketing, Development Communication or a related discipline
• Strong writing in English and Filipino, with a portfolio or sample work to show
• Working skill in Canva or Adobe tools and basic photo and video editing
• Sense of what performs on social platforms and comfort adjusting tone by audience
• Reliable on deadlines in a publishing calendar

Bonus Points

• Photography, videography, Adobe Premiere or After Effects, and analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite or LinkedIn Page Analytics
