Key Responsibilities:Operations Management
- Assist the Commissary Manager in supervising daily commissary operations including ordering, stocking, packaging, and distribution of goods.
- Monitor workflow and ensure staff efficiency in filling inmate/customer orders or retail restocking.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of commissary areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure accurate labeling, pricing, and shelf stocking.
- Conduct regular inspections of inventory, equipment, and storage conditions.
Staff Supervision
- Together with the Commissary Manager, train, schedule, and supervise commissary clerks, assistants, or inmate workers.
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching, feedback, and disciplinary action as needed.
- Ensure proper coverage and shift assignments to meet operational needs.
Inventory and Financial Control
- Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure availability of popular items.
- Perform routine inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and compliant with accounting policies.
Customer Service
- Ensure that all stakeholders are served properly with highest level of good customer service.
- Resolve customer or staff complaints effectively and professionally.
- Ensure orders are filled accurately and delivered in a timely manner.
- Promote a positive customer experience and maintain professional demeanor at all times.
Compliance & Security
- Adhere to and enforce institutional, legal, and company policies regarding commissary operations.
- Ensure that commissary employees follow all rules concerning product handling and restricted items.
- Maintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and security compliance.
- Coordinate with respective stakeholders when needed to ensure safety protocols are observed.
Qualifications:
- Must be graduate of any Bachelor's Degree related to Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail, inventory management, or food service operations.
- Prior leadership (TL, Assistant Supervisor, Supervisor) experience in a Commissary is a must.
- Interested candidates must be willing to work fully on-site in 3MD Camangyanan Sta Maria Bulacan.
- Interested candidates must be willing to work on a shifting schedule (Morning and Graveyard), Monday-Saturday
