Overview:
As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for owning and driving the profit and loss of the Marketing Solutions portfolio. The role will focus on formulating and executing the commercial strategy across various facets such as pricing, packaging, product roadmap, and strategic alignment with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of influencing business outcomes through data-driven decisions and leadership.
What you will do:
- Manage the financial performance of the product portfolio, with full accountability for revenue, costs, margins, and profitability
- Develop and implement commercial strategies across pricing, packaging, product roadmap, and go-to-market activities to maximize business performance
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth, product positioning, and pricing strategies that align with market trends
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Product) to ensure alignment on the commercial strategy, KPIs, and execution plans
- Own commercial forecasting processes and deliver accurate reporting on performance against budget, forecasting, and strategic goals
- Identify risks and opportunities related to P&L management, pricing, and product development, and recommend appropriate actions
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field
- Has 5-7 years of experience in a commercial management, product, or P&L ownership role, preferably within a fast-paced, dynamic industry
- Proven track record in managing P&L for a product or business unit
- Experience with pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategy within a product-led organization is essential
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to interpret and act upon complex data sets
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage cross-functional relationships, and influence senior leadership
