Commercial Lines Assistant (Up to ₱35K | Hybrid | FREE AI Certification)

You own the day-to-day operational support for a U.S. insurance brokerage's Commercial Lines team — processing certificates, endorsements, renewals, and claim reporting that keeps Account Managers, Account Executives, and Producers focused on client relationships. Your work follows established commercial lines workflows, coordinates with the brokerage's offshore support platform (Patra) where applicable, and adheres to defined service standards for commercial policy administration.

This is not a rating or advisory role. You operate within structured commercial lines workflows, take direction from Account Managers and Producers, and are trusted to process high-volume paperwork with accuracy at pace. Best suited for professionals who thrive on structured admin work, value accuracy over speed alone.

YOU'RE LIKELY A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE

• 1+ years of office admin, coordination, or comparable support experience (insurance industry experience is not required, but a plus)
• Excellent written and verbal English, capable of communicating with U.S.-based account teams and clients with minimal editing
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office — Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Highly organized with strong time management across concurrent tasks and shifting priorities
• Professional demeanor with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to work a permanent night shift (11:00 PM–8:00 AM PH Time) aligned with U.S. business hours — full onsite at Cebu IT Park during Week 1, transitioning to hybrid (2 days onsite per month)

STRONG SIGNALS

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• Prior experience supporting a U.S.-based insurance brokerage, agency, or carrier — Commercial Lines preferred
• Familiarity with commercial lines processes — Certificates of Insurance, endorsements, MVRs, Loss Runs, Auto ID cards, NOCs
• Experience with Applied Epic, AMS360, or a comparable agency management system
• Familiarity with Patra or comparable insurance support / outsourcing platforms
• Comfort using AI tools to accelerate document handling, follow-up, and quality review

RESPONSIBILITY PILLARS

Certificate & Evidence Operations

You own the flow of certificates and Evidence of Insurance for the commercial book.

• Coordinate Certificate and Evidence of Insurance issuance and renewals with Patra, or issue in-house as required
• Create, renew, and maintain Certificate and Evidence masters
• Process undeliverable certificates and resolve routing issues
• Issue Auto ID cards on request

Renewal, Endorsement & Submission Processing

You execute the transactional workflows that keep commercial policies current.

• Execute the renewal processing workflow as assigned by the Account Manager — update applications, prepare and refresh spreadsheets
• Enter online submissions to carrier portals
• Process endorsements against defined workflows
• Draft proposals and summaries as requested

Claims, Billing & Follow-Up

You keep the administrative side of claims, billing, and reinstatements moving.

• Handle claim reporting, input, and follow-up as requested
• Coordinate MVR and Loss Run ordering and follow-up through Patra where applicable
• Handle NOC and Reinstatement follow-up (through Patra when possible)
• Perform billing status checks and process invoicing as assigned

Documentation & Special Projects

You keep records, mailings, and cross-team requests moving on schedule.

• Prepare letters, mailings, and spreadsheets as directed
• Handle scanning, photocopying, and proposal binding as needed
• Take on special projects as assigned
• Own ad-hoc administrative requests for Account Managers and Producers
